English, Media and Modern Languages

The Faculty of English, Media and Modern Languages presents a number of courses ranging in level. The principles of the Broad General Education are adhered to for pupils in S1-3. Teaching and learning leads to National 2-5 for pupils in S4 with Higher and Advanced Higher offered later on depending on previous levels of attainment.

Mathematics, Business Education and Computing Science

The Mathematics, Business Education and Computing Science Faculty presents a number of courses ranging in level. The principles of the Broad General Education are adhered to for pupils in S1-3. Teaching and learning leads to National 2-5 for pupils in S4 with Higher and Advanced Higher offered later on depending on previous levels of attainment."

Social Subjects

This Faculty is the home of History,Geography and Modern Studies. It also covers Home Economics, Hospitality and Social and Vocational Studies.

Access 2, Curriculum for Excellence,Standard Grade, Intermediate 1 and 2, Highers and Advanced Highers are all available.

Sciences

The Science Faculty naturally gives access to General Science along with Biology, Chemistry and Physics. It also covers the Graphic Communications and Technology disciplines.

In Science we extend the range from theNational 3 to Higher and Advanced Highers.

Expressive Arts

This is where the Art, Music and Drama departments reside.

Qualifications are the same as English, Maths and Modern languages Faculties.

Religious Education

Religious Moral and Philosophical subject area and additionally the Philosophy courses are presented here.
