School Excursions

Dynamic Earth 2014

120 S2 pupils enjoyed  a Geography Field trip to Dynamic Earth. The pupils had a one hour workshop where they handled different types of laves, completed the tour of Dynamic Earth and watched a film about space exploration in the Show Dome and of course got to spend some time in the shop!!

Paris 2014

St Joseph’s College annual French Trip to Paris and its surrounding area again returned to Dumfries after 6 days crammed with activities and sightseeing opportunities giving the pupils a real taste of French life.

 

A total of 162 French students accompanied by 19 staff and helpers travelled the nearly 700 mile bus journey to Château Grande Romaine just south of Paris. The location is an ideal base for the trip, set in secure grounds and providing full board accommodation and amenities for the students.

Hadrians Wall 2014

The History department had a very successful S1 trip to Hadrians Wall on Thursday 11th September.
